YEREVAN, November 12. /ARКА/. Armenia will never refuse to buy wheat from Russia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated.

"I am officially stating this. However, Armenia will also, without hesitation, consider other options on the market, including who else is selling wheat and whether there are alternative offers for us," he said during a government question-and-answer session in parliament.

Pashinyan denied the suggestion that Armenia would ignore any offers to buy wheat.

"This will not happen. Moreover, I don't want to hide it: there are offers... Other suppliers are asking if we are interested. We are asking about the price. If the price is attractive, we will agree; if not, we will declare our disinterest," he continued.

On November 12, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service claimed that "Yerevan is ready to weaken another link with Moscow. For many years, Armenia has been purchasing grain from Russia. Now, for political reasons, the Armenians, so to speak, 'want to break free' from Moscow and assist Ukraine by purchasing some of its grain. However, here's the problem: Ukrainian grain is more than 50% more expensive."

On the evening of November 5, a train carrying Russian grain arrived at the Ayrum railway station in Armenia, having passed through Azerbaijan and Georgia. This route is being used for the first time since the early 1990s.

On November 7, a train carrying Kazakh wheat arrived in Armenia, having passed through Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The train carried approximately 1,000 tons of wheat. This was the second shipment of grain imported to Armenia via Azerbaijan since the President of Azerbaijan lifted all restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia through his territory on October 21.-0-
