The government is looking into possibility of increasing the number of charter flights to Armenia, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said during a special meeting of the National Assembly on Monday.

YEREVAN, July 13. /ARKA/. The government is looking into possibility of increasing the number of charter flights to Armenia, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said during a special meeting of the National Assembly on Monday.
He said regarding the resumption of air traffic in general, it is related to the country's exit from the state of emergency and the intensity of the spread of the coronavirus. In his words, based on these data, appropriate decisions will be made. 'However, at this stage we are discussing the issue of increasing the number of charter flights," he said.
Last Thursday, Russian consumer safety watchdog Rospotrebnadzor unveiled a list of 13 countries with which Russia can resume flights to in the first stage of the resumption of international flights. Armenia is not in the list.
Armenia is also in the list of non- EU countries banned from entering the European Union, because of the danger of the spread of coronavirus. -0-
