Armenia ratifies agreements with Malta and Singapore on elimination of double taxation

YEREVAN, October 28. /ARKA/. The Armenian parliament has ratified today the agreement between Armenia and Malta on the elimination of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion.
The ratification was backed by 59 lawmakers, 2 opposed and 13 abstained. The agreement was signed on September 24, 2019 in New York by the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Malta.
The government of Armenia says the agreement is a priority step for the maximum rapprochement between the business circles of the two countries and the creation of favorable conditions for their cooperation.
The parliament has ratified also the Agreement between Armenia and Singapore on the elimination of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion.
The decision was endorsed by 66 MPs, 10 parliamentarians abstained. The agreement was signed by the heads of government of the two countries in Singapore on July 8, 2019.-0--
