Armenia’s first quarter exports surge by 26.3 percent

Armenia's foreign trade turnover in the first quarter of 2016 decreased by 3.8% if compared to the same period of 2015, to approximately $997.1 million, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said today.

YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. Armenia's foreign trade turnover in the first quarter of 2016 decreased by 3.8% if compared to the same period of 2015, to approximately $997.1 million, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said today.
According to NSS, the exports increased by 26.3% to $375.9 million, while imports fell by 15.9% to about $621.2 million. As a result, the negative foreign trade balance amounted to $245.3 million.-0-
