Armenia’s PSRC connected to electronic single window system
YEREVAN, October 8. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) has been connected to the electronic single window system (one-stop-shop), which was launched on October 1 by the State Revenue Committee (SRC).
The system is designed to simplify a string of customs clearance procedures, including the issuance of various permits, and also to minimize contacts of business people with government agencies, saving as a result time and other resources for all parties.
According to SRC, using the electronic platform, legal entities and individuals will obtain all necessary permits for customs clearance, enter online all data on goods moved or to be moved across the border from anywhere and at any time by filling out only one application.
This process will take place in stages and will be completed by the end of this year. The "one-stop- shop" system is being implemented in cooperation and with the assistance of the European Union.
Seventeen government bodies and organizations entitled to issue various permits will gradually join the single window system. The first agency to join it was the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee. - 0--
