The share of Belarus has almost tripled in the total volume of cross-border payments of sellers of Russian marketplaces in January-August 2024, according to a study of Modulbank and PRO Wildberries, Russian business daily Kommersant reported.

YEREVAN, October 1. /ARKA/. The share of Belarus has almost tripled In the total volume of cross-border payments of sellers of Russian marketplaces in January-August 2024, according to a study of Modulbank and PRO Wildberries, Russian business daily Kommersant reported.

The share of Armenia has grown 4 times, that of Kyrgyzstan five times. However, the share of these countries is still low: in January-August 2024, Belarus accounted for 11.7%, Kyrgyzstan for 9.6% and Armenia for 3.6%.

“There are no problems in settlements with CIS countries. Besides, a large volume of settlements is made in Russian rubles,” explains Svetlana Godlina, a member of the board of Modulbank. -0-
