Armenia’s trade with EEU member states significantly up- minister says

Armenia’s trade with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) has increased significantly over the past two years, according to minister of economic development and investment Suren Karayan.

YEREVAN, December 22. /ARKA/. Armenia’s trade with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) has increased significantly over the past two years, according to minister of economic development and investment Suren Karayan.
Speaking at a final news conference this year the minister positively assessed Armenia's membership in the Russia-led economic bloc, saying very positive changes have been registered over the two years of Armenia’s membership.
"I positively assess Armenia's accession to the EEU, because we have seen a significant rise in Armenian exports to EEU markets in the last two years", - said Karayan.
Eurasian Economic Union’s members are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. According to official data, Armenia’s trade with member states of EEU in January-October 2016 amounted to about $1.111.3 billion, an increase of 13.5% compared to the same period of 2015. -0-
