Armenia simplifies licensing procedure for foreign companies

YEREVAN, October 21. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has adopted a set of amendments to the Law on Licensing, which are designed to simplify the licensing procedure for foreign companies in some activity areas.
Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan said the licensing procedure for companies from the Eurasian Economic Union member states, the EU, the USA, Canada, South Korea, China, Japan, Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia and Iran will be simplified in such activity areas as private security, collection and postal services, nuclear or radioactive materials of devices, organization of railway transport and passenger transportation by individual taxi , construction, technical control of construction quality, etc.
"This will significantly improve the business environment in these areas and facilitate the activities of foreign companies in Armenia," he said. -0-
