YEREVAN, November 9. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today application of tariff quotas on imports of beef, pork and poultry meat, as well as dairy whey.

The government also approved the import procedure, as well as the forms of one-time and general licenses for import of certain types of agricultural products.

Since the Ministry of Economy is the state body responsible for non-tariff regulation within the frameworks of membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, it is recognized as the authorized body for issuing licenses for import of certain types of agricultural products.

The following quotas have been established:

- Cattle meat (fresh, frozen) - 9,000 tons per year;

- Pork (fresh, frozen) – 12,000 tons per year;

- Poultry meat and edible by-products (fresh, frozen) – 39,100 tons per year.

- Milk whey and modified milk whey in powdered, granulated or other solid form, not containing sugar and other sweeteners – 1,200 tons. --0--
