YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. At a meeting on Friday, the Armenian government decided to exempt Dragsman Cement from customs duties on imports.
The company plans to invest a total of 1.9 billion drams in establishing a cement production plant using imported equipment.
As part of the project, the company plans to invest 1.4 billion drams in the acquisition of fixed assets, 250 million drams in dismantling and installation work, 50 million drams in construction, and 200 million drams in specialized equipment.
The number of jobs is planned to increase from the current 10 to 50. The customs duty exemption is estimated at 40.9 million drams. ($1 = 382.12 drams).-0-
