Armenian agency bans sale of chicken meat with salmonella

Armenia’s State Food Safety Service has banned today the sale of several brands of chicken meat, which were found out to be infected with salmonella.
YEREVAN, December 14. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Food Safety Service has banned today the sale of several brands of chicken meat, which were found out to be infected with salmonella. The names of companies that supplied the dangerous chicken meat were announced by the head of the State Food Safety Service Ishkhan Karapetyan.
They are the frozen chicken wings "Frangosul" and SEARA, produced in Brazil; frozen chicken breasts "Premium" produced in Russia; frozen chicken breasts "Qualiko" produced in Ukraine; frozen broiler chicken "Mirotorg" produced in Russia.
Apart from banning their sale, the State Food Safety Service also ordered their withdrawal from the retail sale network and disposal. -0-
