Armenian company to manufacture multifunctional trucks

The government of Armenia at a meeting on Thursday granted the AA Trans LLC a permission to operate at the Alliance free economic zone.

YEREVAN, October 12. /ARKA/. The government of Armenia at a meeting on Thursday granted the AA Trans LLC a permission to operate at the Alliance free economic zone. Economic Development and Investments Minister Suren Karayan said the company is planning to establish production of multifunctional trucks.
"The company plans to invest about $40 million in the innovative production of trucks, which will create from forty to one thousand jobs," said Karayan.
According to the government's decision, the company plans to export trucks to Iran, Georgia, the United States, the Middle East and Central Asia.
Earlier in an interview with ARKA news agency, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Hovhannes Azizyan said that the Armenian company in cooperation with the Russian auto giant Kamaz and an American company will establish production of trucks in Armenia. --0-
