Armenian - Czech company to build landfill waste processing plant

Greeneco-Kas, an Armenian-Czech company, has pledged to invest 33 million Euros in Armenian Armavir region, Vache Terteryan, deputy minister of territorial administration and emergency situations, said to a Cabinet session today.
YEREVAN, October 8. / ARKA /. Greeneco-Kas, an Armenian-Czech company, has pledged to invest 33 million Euros in Armenian Armavir region, Vache Terteryan, deputy minister of territorial administration and emergency situations, said to a Cabinet session today.
The investment program of the company was approved today by the government. The joint company will use the money to build a landfill waste processing plant and a greenhouse.
Terteryan said 25 million Euros will be invested into the construction of the waste processing plant and the rest in the construction of a greenhouse.
He said the plant will occupy a total area of 15 hectares; it will be located in close proximity to a landfill in Armavir region.
"This is a completely private company, which is given three years for the implementation of its investment program, although the entire program is designed for seven years,» said Terteryan .-- 0-
