Armenian exports to USA surge by 66 percent

The Armenia-USA trade in the first seven months of 2017 surged by 38% yea-on-year to $91 million, the deputy minister of economic development and investments of Armenia Garegin Melkonyan said on Wednesday.
YEREVAN, September 13. /ARKA/. The Armenia-USA trade in the first seven months of 2017 surged by 38% yea-on-year to $91 million, the deputy minister of economic development and investments of Armenia Garegin Melkonyan said on Wednesday.
‘Armenian exports to USA grew to $35 million, growing by impressive 66%," Melkonyan said during a joint conference of the Armenian- American Chamber of Commerce and the US Embassy in Armenia.
“It is very important to think about even greater diversification of our exports to USA," Melkonyan said. -0-
