YEREVAN, May 20. /ARKA/. Gagik Khachatryan, newly appointed finance minister, denied today Levon Zurabyan's statement about his ownership of dozens of businesses.
On Wednesday, Levon Zurabyan, an MP from the Armenian National Congress, accused Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan of appointing Gagik Khachatryan, the owner of dozens of businesses, including Ucom Telecommunication Company, to the finance-ministerial post.
«I am repeating once again: I have no business, and I can take pride in Ucom, since this company works transparently and pays all its taxes. It has managed to establish cooperation with Ericsson. If one has good business programs, the government should create conditions for putting them into practice, and no matter whom these businesses belong. If we go into subjectivism, we will be not able to work peacefully.» --0---
