Armenian Food Safety Inspectorate removes restrictions on import of some good from UK and Netherlands

On December 5, 2018 Armenia’s Food Safety Inspectorate removed a temporary restriction imposed on the import of a number of products from the UK and the Netherlands.

YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. On December 5, 2018 Armenia’s Food Safety Inspectorate removed a temporary restriction imposed on the import of a number of products from the UK and the Netherlands.
The Inspectorate said in a statement that the restriction is removed for all species of live poultry, raw materials (feathers and down), commercial and hatching eggs, meat and bone meal, compound feed, polymer and cardboard boxes, and gaskets.
The regulator said this decision was based on the latest data of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) and the official letter from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands on the elimination of bird flu of high pathogenicity. -0-
