YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. On December 5, 2018 Armenia’s Food Safety Inspectorate removed a temporary restriction imposed on the import of a number of products from the UK and the Netherlands.

The Inspectorate said in a statement that the restriction is removed for all species of live poultry, raw materials (feathers and down), commercial and hatching eggs, meat and bone meal, compound feed,  polymer and cardboard boxes, and gaskets.

The regulator said this decision was  based on the latest data of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) and the official letter from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands on the elimination of bird flu of high pathogenicity. -0-
