Armenian foreign minister off to Brussels
YEREVAN, November 15. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will pay a two-day working visit to Brussels on November 15-16 to participate in the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Eastern Partnership countries.
The press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan said in Brussels Mirzoyan is expected to sign an agreement on the Armenia- European Common Aviation Area (ECAA).
The ECAA liberalizes the air transport industry by allowing any company from any ECAA member state to fly between any ECAA member states airports, thereby allowing a "foreign" airline to provide domestic flights.
Armenia started negotiations to join the agreement after a new Armenia-EU partnership agreement was signed in February 2017.Mirzoyan will also have meetings with other European Union officials.-0- -0-
