The Armenian government has approved today a pilot program designed to support investment projects in such areas as livestock breeding and poultry farming, the Ministry of Economy said.

YEREVAN, March 3. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today a pilot program designed to support investment projects in such areas as livestock breeding and poultry farming, the Ministry of Economy said.

It said the purpose of the program is to help livestock breeding and poultry farming companies become self-sufficient through partial compensation of investments by the government.

Cattle breeding entities in all regions of the country will be provided with compensation in the amount of 35% of the investments made, but no more than 3.5 billion drams. Poultry farms will be provided with compensation no more than 2.8 billion drams.

To become a beneficiary of the pilot program a company must have at least a 10 billion dram worth investment programs if it is a livestock breeding company and at least 8 billion drams if it is a poultry farming company. The program will start in 2022 in all regions of Armenia. ($1 - 496.48 drams). -0--
