Armenian helicopter company request license for operating flights

Armenia’s Main Civil Aviation Administration said today it has received a request for license from Armenian Helicopter company, saying a set of measures to develop aviation, including creation of favorable conditions for attraction of investments is yielding results.
YEREVAN, May 4. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Main Civil Aviation Administration said today it has received a request for license from Armenian Helicopter company, saying a set of measures to develop aviation, including creation of favorable conditions for attraction of investments is yielding results.
It said soon citizens of Armenia and tourists visiting the country will be able to travel both in Armenia and beyond it on US-manufactured helicopters Robinson R66 and European-made AIRBUS EC130T2.
It said also the company plans to invest $10 million in the next three years and create new jobs. To stimulate the company's activities, the Armenian government provided it with a set of benefits regarding payment of customs duties.-0-
