“Krunk Air cjsc has all the required supporting documentation to obtain a certificate from the chief civil aviation department. We have 750 million euros and the possibility to buy eight modern aircrafts from producers or individuals”, Poghosyan said at a Public Council discussion about the future of Armenian aviation.

The head of the company has not specified their financial sources though. He said “there is no secret in it, and the certificate may be obtained within two months”.

Poghosyan also said that he had been general director of “Gorizont” company having five aviation licenses, particularly for selling tickets and etc, but not being able to start operations due to lack of funds with the founder.

Earlier, Armenian mass media reported that Krunk Air may replace Armavia who started a bankruptcy process. Yet, according to the mass media allegations, there is no Krunk Air company registered, head of Armenia’s chief civil aviation department said. -0-
