YEREVAN, December 17. /ARKA/. Armenia's national air carrier may appear in 2020, Tatevik Revazyan, the head of the Civil Aviation Committee, told reporters on Monday. She said an airline has already approached the Committee, and has submitted the required documents.

'We must study if they comply with international requirements. If everything goes well, then next year we will have a local carrier," said she.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on July 3 that having a national air carrier is strategically important for Armenia. -0-
