Armenian prime minister and head of Russian bank discussed implementation of joint investment programs

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Dmitry Patrushev, chairman of Russian Rosselkhozbank (Russian Agricultural Bank), discussed implementation of joint investment programs, opening of the bank’s representation in Armenia, as well as acquisitions of agricultural machinery by Armenian farmers on leasing, the government press service told ARKA.

YEREVAN, January. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Dmitry Patrushev, chairman of Russian Rosselkhozbank (Russian Agricultural Bank), discussed implementation of joint investment programs, opening of the bank’s representation in Armenia, as well as acquisitions of agricultural machinery by Armenian farmers on leasing, the government press service told ARKA.
The Prime Minister was quoted as saying that agriculture is one of the priorities of the government.
"We're trying to find new partners and opportunities to stimulate the development of this sector, » he said.
Sargsyan was said to have expressed hope that cooperation and exchange of experience with Rosselkhozbank will help the government to map out its next steps for the development of the sector. Patrushev said the bank is one of the leaders in financing agriculture in Russia. -0-
