Armenian regulator destroys expired wafers

Armenia's Food Safety Inspectorate received a signal the other day that expired sweets were being sold at the Archuk store, located in the central market of Gyumri, Armenia's second-largest town.
YEREVAN, April 2. /ARKA/. Armenia's Food Safety Inspectorate received a signal the other day that expired sweets were being sold at the Archuk store, located in the central market of Gyumri, Armenia's second-largest town.
When visiting the store the regulator's inspectors found out that chocolate wafers of the Russian company Yaro, produced on 08/23/2018, and expired on 07/23/2019, were sold at discount price.
The Food safety Inspectorate said the whole batch of 20 kg chocolate wafers was removed and destroyed on the spot. -0-
