Armenian regulator orders recall of carbonated drinks

The State Food Safety Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Agriculture has ordered Jermuk International Pepsi Cola Bottler Ltd. to recall carbonated beverages marked "Mirinda Apple" from all stores and supermarkets after finding incorrect marking on the bottles.
YEREVAN, August 25. /ARKA/. The State Food Safety Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Agriculture has ordered Jermuk International Pepsi Cola Bottler Ltd. to recall carbonated beverages marked "Mirinda Apple" from all stores and supermarkets after finding incorrect marking on the bottles.
The Service said the labels of the drinks say they contain E102 (tartazine) dye, but they lack mandatory warning that E102 may have a negative effect on the activity and attention of children.
The sale of all products found in the warehouse of the company was suspended. The company was also ordered to withdraw all the products labeled Mirinda Apple from the stores. --0--
