The State Revenue Committee of Armenia declared today that it has found out 50% of so-called shadow in some segments of the country’s economy, Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) reports.
YEREVAN, April 12. /ARKA/. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia declared today that it has found out 50% of so-called shadow in some segments of the country’s economy, Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) reports.
The newspaper says the committee, according to its statement, has found 50% of shadow at 35 companies engaged in building apartment blocks and about 54% of shadow at 46 economic entities engaged in import and sale of household appliances and mobile phones.
Remarkable is that the State Revenue Committee didn’t reveal what companies were involved in shady dealings and said nothing about whether well-known tycoons were among the wrongdoers or not. --0----
