YEREVAN, April 30. /ARKA/. The Armenian State Revenue Committee's investigation and intelligence division has disclosed a number of criminal tax evasion schemes. According to the press service of the department, it has become known from periodically received operational data that various individuals, as well as real or actual beneficiaries of some organizations, in order to evade taxes or create signs of bankruptcy, are developing criminal mechanisms in advance and trying to put them into practice.

In particular, persons involved in criminal groups, mainly in the names of socially disadvantaged citizens, register limited liability companies or send them for registration as individual entrepreneurs. Then, in their names, they import various types of goods into Armenia from the EAEU member countries without filing tax returns and evade taxes. In another case, these persons submit documents, but do not fulfill their tax obligations.

The investigation and intelligence division has opened a number of similar criminal cases. Moreover, the analysis of operational data proves that the mentioned grave or especially grave crimes are organized by several criminal groups and show the same "handwriting".

The State Revenue Committee continues its efforts to disclose and prevent these criminal mechanisms, urging citizens without an intention to conduct business to refrain from creating commercial organizations, as well as obtain state registration as individual entrepreneurs. The agency warns the real beneficiaries of organizations that they will be punished to the full extent of the law if they create criminal schemes for tax evasion. -0---
