British businessman buys Medoff brand

Investment company Eastern Beverage Company S.A. (registered in Luxembourg), which is owned by British businessman Neil Smith, has purchased Ukrainian vodka manufacturer Medoff.
YEREVAN, May 30. /ARKA/. Investment company Eastern Beverage Company S.A. (registered in Luxembourg), which is owned by British businessman Neil Smith, has purchased Ukrainian vodka manufacturer Medoff.
Englishman Neil Smith holds Master’s degree from Cambridge University. Being a famous financier and married to Ukrainian he tends to focus on investment projects targeted at the markets of the post-Soviet countries.
He started his career in 1996 as an accountant at DELLOITTE company . Afterwards he set up a number of successful funds, such as “Morley G7 Fixed Income Fund” and others. He also launched a joint enterprise between “Benchmark Plus” and “Morley” thus enabling setting one of the most efficient funds in Europe (“Aviva Alpha Optimum Fund”). At the age of 27 he ran the office of alternative investments division at Morley Fund Management, fifth of the world’s insurance groups and the major one in Great Britain. In 2004 Neil opened Gyre Capital Management company, and in 2006- Florin Advisers, as a division of Gyre Capital Management. Currently, he owns Eastern Beverage Company S.A investment company (Luxembourg).
According to Smith, Medoff is an important purchase that has a great potential to enter the international market.
In spring of 2012 the brand not only renewed its owners but also its design. The brand appeared in an absolutely new progressive design ensuring additional protection from forgery. The previous square bottle became now originally shaped, and the new bottle cap and label “MEDOFF” guarantee 100% protection. -0-
