YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. The Armenian government approved today a procedure designed for establishing and awarding annual prizes in the field of quality assurance of products and services.

Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan noted that all legal entities and individual entrepreneurs can participate in the contest on a voluntary basis. He added that manufacturers of weapons, military and special equipment can also participate but only those companies that produce also civilian products.

The award-winning organization can use the symbol of the badge in its promotional materials. The Minister noted that the award has only a marketing component and does not provide any tax or other preferences. -0-
