YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. The Russia-based company BusyFly has invested about $100,000 in starting an electric scooter rental service in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, the RB.ru reported. It said the company plans to expand into other cities of the country as well.

At the initial stage, residents and guests of the Armenian capital will have access to 100 Ninebot Kickscooter MAX scooters. The company plans to increase their number to 500 units in the near future.

At least 5 tariff options will be available to users, depending on the driving speed and travel time (half-hour and hour tariffs are available).

The minimum rental cost will be 30 AMD; one-time activation of the scooter will cost 100 AMD. The maximum permissible travel speed is 25 km / h.

Scooters can be parked at city and private bicycle parking lots. One can use scooters in Yerevan through the application, which is available for download in the AppStore and GooglePlay.

BusyFly, a Russian electric scooter rental service, was established in 2018. The company currently operates in 10 countries (Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Spain, Ukraine and Kazakhstan) and 69 cities around the world. The total fleet of scooters is 12.5 thousand. -0-
