Central Bank grants permission for cooperation of UBPAY Armenian and KWIKPAY

Russia has claimed that 85% of Armenian brandy samples supplied to the Russian market do not meet current standards, Forbes.ru reported, citing a study by the Union of Producers of Brandy, Spirits, and Alcoholic Beverages (Soyuzkoniak) in conjunction with the International Anti-Counterfeiting Association.

Armenian flower producers must strictly comply with phytosanitary standards, said Tigran Petrosyan, head of the Food Safety Inspection Authority, adding that Russia (the destination of the bulk of Armenian flower exports) expects imported products to fully comply with its phytosanitary standards.

Armenia’s Food Safety Inspectorate  inspected the Hin Aparan LLC dairy production facility and found serious violations. The production of certain products has been banned.

In recent weeks, Rosselkhoznadzor (the Russian agricultural watchdog) has tightened the requirements for imported cut flowers from Armenia, citing an increase in contaminated products.
