Company with participation of philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan to run legendary Children’s World in Moscow

The legendary Central Children’s Store in Moscow, former Children’s World, will be run by ECE Russland, a joint venture of German’s ECE and RD Group of Gagik Adibekyan and investors, one of which is Ruben Vardanyan, Vedomosti reports.
YEREVAN, August 1. /ARKA/. The legendary Central Children’s Store in Moscow, former Children’s World, will be run by ECE Russland, a joint venture of German’s ECE and RD Group of Gagik Adibekyan and investors, one of which is Ruben Vardanyan, Vedomosti reports.
VTB Group has handed it over to ЕСЕ Russland for management.
The word of the handover has been confirmed also by Evgeny Butman, Ideas4Retail managing partner.
Before the handover the children’s store has been managed by A&NN Retail of Alexander Mamut’s A&NN Investment Group.
The new manager has already embarked on changing the trade center’s concept.
“Our goal is to develop the Central Children’s Store into an attraction center, where kids and their progressive parents can spend time nice and profitably,” Central Children’s Store CEO Peter Partma told RBC Media Group yet one year ago.
He said that more cafes, restaurants and electronic appliances shops were planned to be opened in the trade center.
Consulting specialists at Cushman & Wakefield were in charge of the implementation of the new strategy.
Ruben Vardanyan is entrepreneur, manager and philanthropist. He is one of the founders of Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity, which is awarded to persons who are trying to change the world. --0---
