YEREVAN, August 8. /ARKA/. The Armenian government decided today to release funds for kicking off the construction of the customs house for vehicles in the country's second-largest town of Gyumri.
According to government officials, the decision to move the customs house from Yerevan to Gyumri will facilitate external economic activities.
The head of the State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan said earlier the relocation of the customs house for vehicles is prompted by the anticipated growth in the number of cars imported to Armenia from outside Eurasian Economic Union-member countries.
