Construction worth AMD 125 billion has been carried out in Armenia over a period between January and June 2016, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

YEREVAN, August 8. /ARKA/. Construction worth AMD 125 billion has been carried out in Armenia over a period between January and June 2016, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
This is 7.8% less than the amount of the same period a year earlier.
According to the statistical report, the population-paid construction cost AMD 29 201 million in Jan-June 2016 and made up 23.4% of the total cost of construction in the country (9% decline).
Construction carried out at the account of organizations cost AMD 58 440.8 million and made up 46.7% of the total amount (15% decline).
Construction paid from humanitarian aid amounted to AMD 2 041.8 million, that paid from the government budget to AMD 12 898.2 million (30.1% decline) and paid from communities’ financial resources to AMD 1 889.4 million (2.7% growth).
Construction financed from international loans cost over AMD 20 617.1 million in Jan-June 2016, accounting for 75.5% year-on-year growth, and constituted 16.5% of the total amount.
The World Bank has AMD 4 790.3 million here, the Asian Development Bank’s AMD 11 660.9 million, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development AMD 131.3 million and other organizations AMD 4 034.6 million. ($1 – AMD 476.02). --0--
