Direct flights between Yerevan and Prague may be restored
YEREVAN, January 24. /ARKA/. Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and the newly-appointed Czech Ambassador to Armenia Petr Piruncik discussed today the likelihood of restoring direct flights between Yerevan and Prague.
Piruncik presented his credentials to the Armenian President. Khachatryan expressed confidence that the Ambassador's efforts will contribute to the development of Armenian-Czech relations, according to the presidential press service.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, the Ambassador said he is ready to contribute to the development of cooperation between Armenia and the Czech Republic as much as possible. He conveyed greetings of Czech President Milos Zeman to the Armenian President.
The interlocutors discussed also the perspectives of activating and deepening the Armenian-Czech trade-economic relations, cooperation in the areas of high technologies, military industry and tourism.
During the talk the importance of high-level reciprocal visits and political contacts was stressed, and an agreement was reached to continue working contacts. --0--
