EEU member countries’ foreign trade in 11 months of 2021 grows by 34.3 percent

YEREVAN, January 21. /ARKA/. The foreign trade of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member countries’ in January-November 2021 totaled $752bn, with exports growing to $465.9bn and imports to $286.1bn.
Compared to the same period of 2020, exports increased by 42.5% and imports by 22.8%, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive arm of the EEU reported today.
In said in January-November 2021, compared to January-November 2020, exports of goods to countries outside the EEU from Belarus increased by 50.3%, from Russia - by 45.4%, from Kazakhstan - 23% and from Armenia - 16.3%.
The main buyers of the goods manufactured by the EEU member countries were the European Union member countries which accounted for 42.2% of EEU exports and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (28.6%). China and Germany were the leading exporters to the EEU markets.-0-
