Expo-Russia Armenia 2016 plus Iran enlarges geography

This year Iran is a newcomer to EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2016 plus IRAN industrial exhibition that is scheduled to kick off on October 26 in Yerevan, David Vartanov, the organizing committee chairman, told ARKA, adding that the fifth business forum as part of the event will start the same day.

YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. This year Iran is a newcomer to EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2016 plus IRAN industrial exhibition that is scheduled to kick off on October 26 in Yerevan, David Vartanov, the organizing committee chairman, told ARKA, adding that the fifth business forum as part of the event will start the same day. He said it will feature presentations of regions, round tables and a contracts exchange.
He said the exhibition, to be held for the seventh time, will run until October 28, featuring representatives of 11 Russian regions, 8 regions of Armenia, as well as Belarusian, Iranian and Syrian companies. In general, some 150 companies will be showcasing their products.
"This exhibition is getting larger with every year in terms of displayed goods and services ", Vartanov said. In his words, most of the companies that participated in the previous exhibitions have already secured their presence in Armenia.
Russian ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volinkin said that such exhibitions contribute to the development of trade relations between Armenia and Russia.
The EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2016 plus IRAN will feature companies working in energy, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, transport and logistics, geology and mining, construction, chemical industry, communication and telecommunications, information technology, innovation, investment banks, insurance companies, agriculture and food, health and education sectors. -0-
