First muesli company established in Armenia

YEREVAN, May 23. /ARKA/. Having travelled around Europe and tasted many kinds of muesli, economist Magda Karapetyan founded the first company in Armenia to produce this healthy breakfast dish called Mornin.

Mornin's assortment of muesli is wide: from children's and chocolate types to variants prepared according to a special recipe for athletes. When developing each type, a nutritionist balanced the diet required for a healthy morning breakfast with special portions.

The first muesli production partner in Armenia was Acba Federation, which helped Magda Karapetyan get professional support, knowledge and mentoring on the way of turning the idea into a business.

"We created muesli based on Armenian dried fruits, invited a nutritionist who made a recipe for different kinds. It had to be thoughtful, targeted and have an impact on the human body and health. We took the main Armenian fruits: plums, apricots, apples, peaches and built a composition around them, each of which has its own purpose. Mornin is one of the beneficiaries of the joint project of Acba Federation and Impact Hub. We went through an interesting and varied one-year program with many interesting and professional mentors who shared their knowledge, skills and advice, for which I am very grateful to them," says Magda Karapetyan.

Mornin plans to export its products in the near future.
