Armenia’s State Food Safety Service has ordered an ice-cream producing company to suspend operation after revealing it used overdue spread.
YEREVAN, April 18. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Food Safety Service has ordered an ice-cream producing company to suspend operation after revealing it used overdue spread. The company called "Dzyan Patiliner" is located in the village of Arinj in the central Kotayk province.
The State Food Safety Service said in a statement that it had ordered that the spread be destroyed, and also suspended the sale of finished products.
An examination of samples of ice creams "Dziunik" and "Dzokhik" produced on March 17 of this year, revealed that both had bacteriological discrepancies, in particular, having staphylococcus.
The sale of 670 pieces of ice cream was suspended and the products were destroyed. The operation of the company was suspended until all the breaches are eliminated. -0-
