Forbes releases ranking of largest Russian private companies

YEREVAN, September 30. /ARKA/. Lukoil oil & gas company is the largest private company in Russia, according to a Forbes ranking, released today.
Lukoil's revenue in 2020 dropped to 5.639 trillion rubles, which is 28% less than a year earlier. The company employs 108 thousand employees, TASS said.
The second largest private company is X5 Retail Group with revenues of 1.978 trillion rubles and 339 thousand employees. Magnit retailer is third with revenue of 1.553.8 trillion rubles, the fourth is the metallurgical company Norilsk Nickel (1.124.2 billion rubles), and the fifth is Surgutneftegaz (1.075 trillion rubles).
The sixth line was taken by the Megapolis group of companies (789.2 billion rubles), the seventh - by Tatneft (720.7 billion rubles). Natural gas producer Novatek (711.8 billion rubles), metallurgical and mining company Evraz (770.3 billion rubles) and NLMK (668.6 billion rubles) are eight, ninth and tenth respectively.
In total, the 200 largest private companies in Russia earned 43.4 trillion rubles in revenue in 2020, 1.1 trillion rubles less than a year earlier, according to Forbes.-0-
