Production output at Gnomon Yerevan Jewellery Plant totaled 1 billion 360 million drams in nine months of this year as compared to 1 billion 245 million drams in the same period of the year before, deputy head of the plant Stepan Mkrtchyan said.
YEREVAN, November 24. /ARKA/. Production output at Gnomon Yerevan Jewellery Plant totaled 1 billion 360 million drams in nine months of this year as compared to 1 billion 245 million drams in the same period of the year before, deputy head of the plant Stepan Mkrtchyan said.
The increase is 12% over nine months, he added. Today the number of staff is 157 and average wages is 120,000 drams at the plant. Before number of people employed in the plant reached 1,450, and the enterprise still has the potential for increasing its production output, the deputy director said.
Gnomon Yerevan Jewellery Plant is one of the biggest Armenian jewelry manufacturers exporting its products to many countries, including the CIS, Middle Asia, USA, Arabic countries. It produces all kinds of jewelry, souvenirs, commemorative coins and Gnomon watches that were certified in Switzerland and Russia. ($1-418.4 drams). –0-
