Government allocates land plot for construction of super-modern buildings

Armenia’s government approved today a decision to allocate a 1.4 hectare land plot for the construction of ultra-modern buildings for high-tech companies as part of an investment program.
YEREVAN, May 29 /ARKA/. Armenia’s government approved today a decision to allocate a 1.4 hectare land plot for the construction of ultra-modern buildings for high-tech companies as part of an investment program.
Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Vache Terteryan said high-tech companies are located in buildings that do not meet modern requirements. He said the focus of the investment program is on technology companies.
He said the land plot is located at 33, Tsitsernakaberd highway. According to Terteryan, the investment program is to last 4-4.5 years, and it will become a new word in the construction sector.
He said also the buildings will have 152 thousand square meters of space. The program is to create some 400 temporary jobs, which will later be replaced by 300 permanent ones. At the same time, 300 sq.m. of the area will be provided for the needs of the Yerevan City Hall. -0-
