Armenia’s government has passed a decision today to extend for 12 months the agreement on the concession management of the national postal operator HayPost.

Government extends contract with HayPost Trust Management for 12 months

YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s government has passed a decision today to extend for 12 months the agreement on the concession management of the national postal operator HayPost.

HayPost was placed under the concession management of Haypost Trust Management in 2006 for a 5 year period. HayPost Trust Management is owned by Argentine businessman Eduardo Eurnekian. The agreement was later prolonged until December 1, 2016.

By the latest government’s decision, the management period was extended until February 15, 2020.

HayPost CJSC is the national postal operator of Armenia. It provides postal, financial and retail services. Currently it has 900 offices across the country. -0-
