Grand Candy confectionary left information about job cuts and rumors that somebody is trying to pull the company out of its current owners without comments.
YEREVAN, February 17. /ARKA/. Grand Candy confectionary left information about job cuts and rumors that somebody is trying to pull the company out of its current owners without comments.
Zhoghovurd newspaper reported today referring to its own sources that Armenia’s Grand Candy is cutting jobs.
According to the newspaper, the company administration dismissed many delivery guys and drivers. Only those delivery guys who can drive cars are left.
It also became known that the company employees had their salaried cut – those earning 100,000 drams before receive 70,000 now.
The newspaper also remembered rumors that somebody is trying to pull the company out of its current owners.
ARKA News Agency correspondents tried to talk to someone from the company’s press office, but it became known that nobody in the company was responsible for public relations, and the company provided no information about its activity to the media. A spokesperson of the company neither confirmed nor denied the information.
“We comment no information for media outlets and give no interviews,” she said.
