YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian , who is in Portugal on a working visit, met yesterday with Prakash Hinduja, the president of the well-known Hinduja Group for Europe, Sarkissian’s press office reported.

It said the two men exchanged views on the possibilities of economic cooperation between Armenia and India, as well as on the effective use of the available potential. Hinduja said that the Hinduja Group is interested in a partnership in technology and science, as well as in the implementation of various joint programs.

Sarkissian invited Hinduja to take part in the Armenian Summit of Minds, which will be held in Armenia this summer.

The Hinduja Group, a company founded by the Hinduja brothers, operates in the fields of information technology, telecommunications, health care, as well as banking and real estate. The number of its employees exceeds 150 thousand. The Hinduja family with a capital of $18 billion is one of the richest families in the world. -0-
