IDpay application wins Grand Prize at Golden Site competition

YEREVAN, June 22. /ARKA/. The IDpay application, enabling instant money transfers from Russia to Armenia on favorable terms, has won the Grand Prize at the Golden Site competition in the category of Banking and Financial Services. ARKA news agency spoke to Felix Khachatryan, one of the founders of the project, about this and many other things. 

ARKA - At the moment IDpay application is quite a popular service for making money transfers from Russia to Armenia. What do you think is the main factor behind this success? 

Felix Khachatryan - First of all, we implemented a unique fintech solution for money transfers from Russia to Armenia, which differs from the usual services, making the application fast, profitable and convenient. In my opinion, these are the three main reasons for the success of the app, because the money transfers are made instantly, with a rather low fee - only 0.9% of the amount. And the most important thing - to use the app, you only need to download it, register, pass remote identification and transfer money from any Russian bank card to any Armenian bank card. We are glad that users appreciated the possibilities of the application and chose it as the main method of their transactions. 

ARKA- As it turns out, not only users appreciated it: IDpay app won Grand Prize at Golden Site competition in the Banking and Financial Services category. How important is this for you? 

Felix Khachatryan- It's always nice to get an award, especially if it's well-deserved. In fact, the most important award for us is that our users stay with us for many months and make money transfers more than once, and use the app regularly. Based on the feedback from our users we are constantly improving the service and making it more profitable and convenient, starting with visual changes to provide users with a more comfortable and pleasant interface, to the quality of service. But the most important thing is the expansion of functionality and additional benefits for users. 

ARKA - As the statistics shows, the volume of money transfers from Russia to Armenia has increased sharply during the last year. Have you encountered any problems with the provision of the service? 

Felix Khachatryan - We launched the service back in 2020 and it has been very successful. After all, money transfers from Russia to Armenia have always been in demand, but in 2022, of course, the demand for the service increased significantly. Of course, in this regard, we faced many issues that needed to be solved quickly. And I am proud to say that our team largely succeeded in doing this - users experienced minimal inconvenience. Now we can say that the main technical issues of scaling are resolved, and the platform has moved to the stage of progressive development. 

ARKA- What are you planning for the users in the near future? 

Felix Khachatryan - We have very interesting updates, and I'm sure our users will appreciate the new functionality. This also applies to increasing the limits, and expanding the possibility of receiving money transfers from Armenia. We also plan to expand the geography of the service and much more.
