Iran has restored transit transportation of cattle from Armenia through its territory following negotiations with Armenian Food Safety Inspection Authority, the press service of the Armenian regulator reported.

YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. Iran has restored transit transportation of cattle from Armenia through its territory following negotiations with Armenian Food Safety Inspection Authority, the press service of the Armenian regulator reported.
The animals should be transported through the territory of Iran without the right to stop or unload.
Armenian Deputy Economy Minister Ashkhen Shirvanyan met last Friday with an Iranian delegation to discuss a set of issues such as opening of breeding centers for breeding pedigree cattle, joint production of vaccines, construction of a quarantine checkpoint for transit transportation of cattle and final veterinary examination. -0-
