Iran suspends flights to Armenia and Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, September 20. /ARKA/. Iran on Wednesday suspended flights to neighboring Azerbaijan and Armenia, Russian Tass reported citing Iranian IRNA news agency.

Iran’s Civil Aviation Authority said the flights have been suspended “for a short time," due to the situation in the region It said flights will resume if conditions return to normal.

On Tuesday Azerbaijan launched "counter-terrorism" activities in Nagorno-Karabakh ‘to restore constitutional order.’ A cease-fire agreement was announced today.-0-

“Gazprom Armenia” CJSC's license extended until January 1, 2026

At a meeting on Monday, the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia extended the license of “Gazprom Armenia” CJSC to import gas into Armenia for one year, until January 1, 2026.
