A joint Armenian-Chinese company began selling Armenian agricultural products in China, near Shanghai, the chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia Arsen Ghazaryan said today. According to him, the joint company offers 12 kinds of Armenia-made drinks, juices and canned goods.
YEREVAN, June 27. /ARKA/. A joint Armenian-Chinese company began selling Armenian agricultural products in China, near Shanghai, the chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia Arsen Ghazaryan said today. According to him, the joint company offers 12 kinds of Armenia-made drinks, juices and canned goods.
"We have entered this market with the help of the Chamber of Commerce," Ghazaryan said speaking at conference organized to look into the current state and prospects of development of Armenia-Georgia-Iran-Russia ties.
"If we manage to gain a foothold there, if the population of at least one Chinese province starts buying Armenian mineral water, juices, canned food, we will have to rapidly develop production and processing of agricultural products", Ghazaryan said.
The conference was organized by Noravank think tank, the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and some other organizations.-0-
