KfW points high growth rates of Armenian GDP

Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan received August 22 a delegation from the German Development Bank (KfW), led by regional director Olaf Zimelka, the government press office said.
YEREVAN, August 23. /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan received August 22 a delegation from the German Development Bank (KfW), led by regional director Olaf Zimelka, the government press office said.
It said issues related to the programs financed by the German bank in Armenia were discussed at the meeting. Highly appreciative of the ongoing cooperation with the KfW Bank, Karen Karapetyan highlighted the importance and continuity of the programs implemented in various sectors of Armenia’s economy.
In his turn, Olaf Zimelka hailed the effective ties of cooperation with the government of Armenia and expressed willingness to take up the questions and suggestions voiced at the meeting in order to outline the steps ahead. With reference to the Government’s activities, the KfW’s regional director pointed to the high growth rates of GDP and the efficiency of those steps aimed at diversifying the exports. -0-
