Major European budget airline expected in Armenia in spring

A major European budget air company will come to the Armenian market in spring 2014, executive director of the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia Arman Khachatryan said.
YEREVAN, December 11. /ARKA/. A major European budget air company will come to the Armenian market in spring 2014, executive director of the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia Arman Khachatryan said.
“Unfortunately, we are currently in the negotiation process and I cannot tell you the name of the company”, Khachatryan said at Novosti international press center.
Khachatryan said that the air company will offer “very competitive prices” and will be operating flights to about 10 European cities.
Earlier general manager of Armenia International Airports closed joint stock company Marcello Vende said Irish Ryan Air is planning to come to the Armenian market.
Ryan Air was founded in 1985 and is the biggest budget airline in Europe. It operates over 1,500 flights in 168 directions to 28 countries every day. –0--
